Oman Showcases Cultural Heritage at Frankfurt Book Fair 2025

Frankfurt: The Sultanate of Oman is participating in the 77th edition of the Frankfurt International Book Fair, which commenced today in the Federal Republic of Germany and will run until 19 October 2025. Oman’s pavilion at the fair features a diverse array of publications from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, the Ministry of Information, and the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, as well as contributions from other government departments and civil society organizations.

According to Oman News Agency, the pavilion reflects the efforts to boost Oman’s presence at major international book fairs and cultural forums. The Frankfurt International Book Fair is recognized as a leading global event in the publishing industry. It provides a platform that unites intellectuals, researchers, and specialists across various fields of knowledge. A significant highlight of Oman’s pavilion is the Ayn platform, which presents digital content and audio-visual products, underscoring the cultural richness and the focus Oman places on its cultural heritage.

The pavilion offers an extensive collection of Omani publications covering history, literature, science, media, and tourism. Additionally, it features works that explore social topics, wildlife, the environment, and adventure within the Sultanate of Oman.
