Oman Selected as Representative of Asia at World Bank Transport Policy Meeting in Africa

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Royal Oman Police, has been selected to represent the continent of Asia at the World Bank's Transport Policy Program meeting in Africa, scheduled to be held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, during March 2027.

According to Oman News Agency, this marks a new international achievement that reflects the Sultanate of Oman's leadership and its concerted efforts in the field of road safety. The meeting is a prominent annual event for African nations; however, this edition features an exceptional expansion through the inclusion of an official representative from the European Union, alongside the exclusive selection of the Sultanate of Oman as the representative for the continent of Asia.
