Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has condemned the repeated attacks on vessels while transiting the Strait of Hormuz, which constitute a violation of international law and the sovereignty of territorial waters, and pose a threat to the safety of maritime navigation and the security and stability of the region. According to Oman News Agency, in a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry today, Oman affirmed that the ongoing negotiations regarding arrangements related to navigation in the Strait of Hormuz are proceeding in a positive and constructive atmosphere. It emphasized the importance of avoiding any actions that could impact these negotiations and the progress achieved, which takes into account the interests of all parties.
