Muscat: The second session of political talks between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Thailand took place today at the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry. The Omani delegation was led by Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, while the Thai delegation was headed by Sirilak Niyom, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to Oman News Agency, the discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations in the logistics, health, and energy sectors. The talks also covered topics such as investment exchange and cultural cooperation. Additionally, both parties engaged in consultations on several regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The session was attended by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Hosni, Head of the Asia and Pacific Department at the Foreign Ministry, Warunee Pan Krajang, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Sultanate of Oman, along with other officials from both sides.
