Oman and Japan Hold 7th Session of Political Talks in Tokyo

Tokyo: The 7th session of political talks between the Sultanate of Oman and Japan took place at Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters. The discussions aimed to explore and enhance cooperation in various fields between the two nations.

According to Oman News Agency, the Omani delegation was led by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs. The Japanese delegation was headed by Ando Toshihide, Assistant Minister for Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Both parties reviewed bilateral relations and discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Additionally, Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy conducted a seminar on Omani-Japanese relations and developments in the Middle East at Oman’s embassy in Tokyo. The event was attended by Japanese politicians, businesspeople, and academics. Key attendees included Dr. Mohammed Said Al Busaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Japan, and Sheikh Abdulaziz Mohammed Al Hosni, Head of the Asia Pacific Department at the Foreign Ministry, along with several officials from both nations.
