Oman and India Renew Maritime Security Agreement

Muscat:The Sultanate of Oman and India have renewed a memorandum of understanding in the field of maritime security. The signing took place at Al Murtafa'a Camp and involved the Maritime Security Centre of Oman and the Indian Navy.

According to Oman News Agency, Rear Admiral Saif Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman and Chairman of the Maritime Security Committee, represented the Omani side, while Prashant Pise, the Ambassador of India to Oman, signed on behalf of India.

The renewed memorandum aims to enhance joint cooperation and facilitate the exchange of expertise between the two countries, with a focus on maintaining the safety of maritime navigation.
