Muscat: Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, met with Luigi Di Maio, the European Union’s Special Representative for the Gulf region, at the Ministry’s headquarters today. The discussions focused on the expanding areas of cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the European Union, particularly in energy, education, and maritime security.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting also included an exchange of perspectives on pivotal regional and international matters of shared concern. The dialogue aimed to strengthen ties and address various strategic fields, reflecting the ongoing partnership between Oman and the EU.

The meeting was attended by officials from both the Foreign Ministry and the European Union, highlighting the importance of the discussions in fostering closer relations and mutual understanding between the parties involved.
