National Defence College Marks Beginning of its 14th Course

Muscat: The National Defence College, at the Academy of Strategic and Defence Studies, today held a ceremony at the college's headquarters to mark the start of the 14th National Defence Course. The ceremony was held under the auspices of Rear Admiral Ali bin Abdullah Al Shidi, Commandant of the National Defence College.

According to Oman News Agency, the chief guest, Rear Admiral Al Shidi, emphasized the significance of the course in enhancing the participants' leadership and strategic capabilities. He encouraged participants to focus on ways to benefit from the course's components, which include a variety of military, security, and civilian experiences, as well as opportunities for exchanging expertise to enhance strategic thinking.

The course aims to prepare a new generation of military and civil leaders by equipping them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and leadership values. These attributes are intended to enable participants to assume strategic positions and contribute effectively to the formulation of national policies and decision-making.
