Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index concluded trading at 4,900.31 points, showing an increase of 6.7 points, or 0.14%, from the previous session’s close of 4,893.61 points.
According to Oman News Agency, the trading value for the day amounted to RO 21,309,851, which represents a 24.9% decrease compared to the prior session’s RO 28,393,583. The report from MSX highlighted a slight decline in the market value by 0.018%, closing at approximately RO 29.56 billion.
In terms of foreign investment, non-Omani investors were responsible for purchases totaling RO 548,000, accounting for 2.57% of the total trading volume. Meanwhile, foreign investors’ sales amounted to RO 1,875,000, representing 8.80% of the trade. Consequently, net foreign investment saw a decrease of RO 1,327,000, equating to 6.23%.
