Musandam: The fifth edition of Musandam Summer 2026 has officially commenced in Musandam Governorate. The event is organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Youth in the Governorate and will continue until 15 August.

According to Oman News Agency, the event coincides with the "Summer Sports" program, which aims to make productive use of the leisure time of young people and youth during the summer vacation. The program seeks to enhance their participation in sports, cultural, and youth activities while providing a safe and stimulating environment for developing their talents and skills.

The initiative includes a wide range of events and activities for different age groups, targeting both males and females. The Summer Sports component offers training programs in football, handball, swimming, badminton, and physical fitness. Participants will also have the opportunity to attend a sports camp supervised by specialized personnel, with structured training plans in place to develop their abilities and refine their skills.
