North al batinah: The Municipal Council in North Al Batinah Governorate convened a meeting today under the leadership of Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al Kindi, Governor of North Al Batinah. The primary focus of the meeting was to address the challenges facing the libraries in the Governorate’s Wilayats.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting involved discussions with several library owners from the Governorate. The aim was to explore potential solutions to enhance the cultural and knowledge-based contributions of libraries within the community.

Additionally, the Council reviewed outcomes from the fourth meeting of the Social Affairs Committee for 2025. A significant topic of discussion was the establishment of parks with children’s play areas in residential neighborhoods. The meeting also considered findings from the third meeting of the Health and Environmental Affairs Committee for 2025.

Furthermore, the Council examined responses from various government agencies concerning a range of issues.
