Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index (30) today gained 12.8 points, marking a rise of 0.30% to close at 4342.43 points, in comparison to the previous session, which ended at 4329.63 points.

According to Oman News Agency, the trading value today was recorded at RO 4,710,843, representing an increase of 5.2% compared to the last session, which was RO 4,478,100. A report released by MSX indicated that the market value rose by 0.293%, reaching approximately RO 27.22 billion.

The report further highlighted that the value of shares purchased by non-Omani investors amounted to RO 208,000, making up 4.41% of the total. In contrast, non-Omani investors sold shares valued at RO 538,000, representing 11.41%. Consequently, the net non-Omani investment saw a decrease of 7%, totaling RO 330,000.
