Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) main index closed higher today, gaining 1.23 percent. The MSX 30 Index concluded the trading session at 6,271.43 points, registering a rise of 75.9 points from the previous close of 6,195.49 points.

According to Oman News Agency, total trading turnover reached RO 68,178,967, reflecting a rise of 95.9 percent compared to the previous session's value of RO 34,800,528. The MSX market report noted that the overall market capitalization went up by 0.433 percent from the last trading day to approximately RO 33.32 billion.

The trading activity of non-Omani investors saw purchases worth RO 9,582,000, representing 14.05 percent of the total market activity. Their sales amounted to RO 25,891,000, accounting for 37.98 percent. This resulted in a net investment inflow of RO 16,309,000 from non-Omani investors, marking a drop of 23.92 percent.
