Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 index today closed at 4,582.46 points, gaining 3.7 points, or 0.08 percent, compared to the previous trading session’s close of 4,578.81 points.

According to Oman News Agency, the trading value today reached RO 8,128,100, decreasing by 10.6 percent compared to the last trading session’s value of RO 9,090,338. The MSX report indicated that the market capitalization went down by 0.026 percent from the previous trading day, reaching approximately RO 28.23 billion.

Non-Omani investors recorded purchases worth RO 916,000, accounting for 11.27 percent of total trading, while their sales amounted to RO 585,000, representing 4.74 percent. Consequently, the net investment by non-Omani investors increased by RO 531,000, or 6.53 percent.
