Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index concluded today’s trading session at 5,573.28 points, registering a rise of 29 points, equivalent to 0.52 percent, from its previous close of 5,544.30 points.

According to Oman News Agency, trading activity witnessed an increase, with total market turnover reaching RO 32,773,540, representing a rise of 7 percent compared to the previous session’s RO 30,642,459. The official market report released by MSX indicated that overall market capitalization went up by 0.286 percent from the last trading day, settling at approximately RO 31.42 billion.

Non-Omani investor purchases totaled RO 3,428,000, accounting for 10.46 percent of total market activity. Their sales amounted to RO 2,117,000, representing 6.46 percent of market turnover. This resulted in a net decrease in foreign investment of RO 1,311,000, equivalent to a 4 percent increase in foreign net investment activity.
