Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index concluded today’s trading session at 5,649.81 points, registering a drop of 9.7 points, equivalent to 0.17 percent, from its previous close of 5,659.53 points.

According to Oman News Agency, trading activity witnessed a decrease, with total market turnover reaching RO 25,427,742, representing a drop of 15.8 percent compared to the previous session’s RO 30,214,501. Overall market capitalization went down by 0.139 percent from the last trading day, settling at approximately RO 31.33 billion.

Non-Omani investor purchases totaled RO 1,938,000, accounting for 7.62 percent of total market activity. Their sales amounted to RO 2,330,000, representing 9.16 percent of market turnover. This resulted in a net decrease in foreign investment of RO 393,000, equivalent to a 1.54 percent decrease in foreign net investment activity.
