Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange "MSX 30" index today closed at 7,613.47 points, marking an increase of 7.6 points, or 0.10 percent, from the previous session's close of 7,605.90 points.

According to Oman News Agency, the trading value witnessed a rise, standing at RO 42,139,998. This represents a growth of 5.88 percent compared to the RO 39,799,702 recorded in the last session. Despite the increase in trading value, the market capitalization saw a decrease of 0.778 percent from the previous trading day, settling at approximately RO 39.28 billion.

Non-Omani investors were active participants in the market, with purchases totaling RO 8.196 million, which accounted for 19.45 percent of the total trading value. Their sales reached RO 6.899 million, or 16.37 percent. Consequently, the net non-Omani investment increased by RO 1.298 million, representing a rise of 3.08 percent.
