Muscat: The Supervisory Committee for Digital Transformation at the Ministry of Interior convened its second meeting of 2025, under the leadership of Khalifa Al Mardas Al Busaidi, Secretary-General of the Ministry and Chairman of the Committee. The primary focus of the meeting was to monitor the progress and implementation of various digital transformation projects.
According to Oman News Agency, the agenda of the meeting included tracking the advancement of digital transformation projects as per the current operational plan. The committee also reviewed the challenges faced during implementation and assessed the stages of different technical initiatives.
Furthermore, the committee analyzed the outcomes of the first semi-annual evaluation of excellence in government digital transformation. Discussions were held on various topics related to the development of e-service systems and the enhancement of digital efficiency within the Ministry. These initiatives align with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040 and are instrumental in advancing the transition towards a smart government.
