Algiers: Within the framework of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik’s visit to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, several ministers met with Algerian officials in Algiers today.
According to Oman News Agency, HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, met with General Said Chengriha, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army and Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defence.
Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of Diwan of Royal Court, held discussions with Boualem Boualem, Director of Cabinet at the Presidency of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.
General Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office, conducted talks with Nadir Larbaoui, Prime Minister of Algeria.
Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, engaged with Ahmed Attaf, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs.
Dr. Saud Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, met with Youcef Cherfa, Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development, and Fisheries.
During these meetings, the focus was on exploring areas of bilateral cooperation. The discussions aimed at enhancing bilateral partnerships to serve the mutual benefits of both countries and reviewed matters of common concern.
