Zanzibar: Said Salim Al Sinawi, Consul General of the Sultanate of Oman in Zanzibar, met today with a delegation from Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), headed by Dr. Abdullah Masoud Al Harthy, Member of the OCCI Board of Directors. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Sultanate of Oman's participation in the Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair, "Saba Saba 2026," in the United Republic of Tanzania.

According to Oman News Agency, the meeting focused on a proposal to organize an exhibition of Omani products in Zanzibar. The primary objective is to enhance bilateral trade exchanges and create new pathways for economic collaboration between Oman and Zanzibar.

The conversation also centered on potential facilitation measures and procedural frameworks to support the successful establishment of the exhibition. These initiatives aim to allow Omani companies to display and market their products effectively in the Zanzibari market. Additionally, the exhibition is expected to enhance investment opportunities and establish commercial partnerships that benefit both parties.
