King of Jordan Meets with Oman’s Shura Council Chairman

Amman: King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, received Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council, along with his accompanying delegation, in the Jordanian capital, Amman today.

According to Oman News Agency, during the meeting, the Jordanian King affirmed the profundity of the deep-rooted fraternal relations binding the Kingdom to the Sultanate of Oman, as well as the shared resolve to further consolidate them and expand cooperation across a wide range of fields.

The meeting was attended by Crown Prince Al-Hussein bin Abdullah II; Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates; Eng. Alaa Al-Batayneh, Director of the Office of the King of Jordan; Mazen Al-Qadi, Speaker of the House of Representatives; and the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
