According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement was reached during a meeting held at the JPA headquarters. The meeting also included discussions on reviewing salary increases for all employees at these newspapers, contingent on each publication's specific financial mechanisms.

The meeting was attended by JPA President Tariq Al-Momani, along with the editors-in-chief and general managers of the three newspapers. Al-Momani emphasized the association's commitment to supporting media institutions, underscoring the importance of the strength and independence of the press as central to the JPA's mission.

Al-Momani acknowledged the significant role played by Jordanian media outlets, especially amid current regional and global challenges. He highlighted the contributions of journalists in defending national interests and dispelling rumors through professional reporting.

The JPA president outlined ongoing efforts to support daily newspapers, noting previous achievements in increasing rates for government advertisements. He disclosed that the current council is working on several new proposals to provide further financial and administrative support to journalists, administrators, and technicians.

Al-Momani also praised the cooperative spirit between the newspapers' management and the JPA in addressing financial settlements and outstanding rights. He expressed optimism that final settlements with all media institutions would be finalized soon.

The editors and managers present welcomed the JPA's initiative, emphasizing that institutional cooperation is crucial for the progress of the press sector. They agreed to collaborate with the association to develop a joint vision to be presented to relevant government authorities, aiming to ensure the long-term sustainability of the print media industry.
