Muscat: Israeli occupation forces arrested six Palestinians today and detained dozens of others in various parts of the West Bank. Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that the Israeli occupation forces arrested a Palestinian man and his son in the village of Deir Ibzi, west of Ramallah, as well as two young men from Tubas and another from the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya.
According to Oman News Agency, in Tulkarm, the occupation forces arrested one person and raided several homes in the suburb of Dhanaba, east of the city. They also stormed the suburb of Shuweika, north of the city, carrying out search and combing operations in the area.
In the same context, Israeli occupation forces detained and mistreated dozens of Palestinians during their raid on the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron. These developments come amid an escalation in daily raids and attacks by Israeli occupation forces and settlers on cities, towns and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem. These attacks include the use of live and rubber-coated bullets and toxic tear gas canisters, as well as assaults on private property.
