Hebron: Israeli forces arrested 21 Palestinians, including a journalist, during raids across the occupied West Bank early on Thursday, the Prisoners Media Office said. According to TRTworld.com, the non-governmental group reported that the arrests involved seven Palestinians from Bethlehem province, nine from Nablus, four from Salfit, and a journalist from Hebron. In Bethlehem, Israeli forces detained four Palestinians in Al-Doha town, Dheisheh refugee camp, and Al-Fawaghra neighbourhood. Additionally, a father and his two sons were arrested in Beit Fajjar town after a search and ransacking of their home. In Nablus, two Palestinians were arrested during a raid in Asira al-Qibliya village, and another was detained from Askar refugee camp. Three more arrests were made in Awarta town, two in Bazariya, and one on Oman Street in Nablus city. In Sebastia town, northwest of Nablus, Israeli forces conducted a raid, arresting the mother and sister of a Palestinian prisoner, who were released after field questioning . In Salfit province, four Palestinians from Qarawat Bani Hassan town were arrested, and a vehicle belonging to one of those detained was seized. In the Hebron province, a journalist from Idhna town was also taken into custody. The Prisoners Media Office stated that the recent actions are part of a continuing "policy of abuse and arbitrary arrest" against Palestinians. The group urged human rights and international organisations to intervene to stop the violations against Palestinians. Since October 8, 2023, Israeli forces have increased their raids across the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, amidst reports of killings, arrests, forced displacement, home demolitions, and settlement expansion.
