Muscat: Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will commence a two-day official visit to the Sultanate of Oman on Tuesday, 27 May 2025.

According to Oman News Agency, the visit is aimed at consolidating the longstanding friendship between the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The two nations are eager to support ongoing cooperation, reflecting a mutual commitment to enhancing bilateral relations for a more prosperous future for their peoples.

During the visit, discussions will focus on various areas of common interest, with the goal of fulfilling the aspirations of both countries’ populations. The leaders will explore ways to safeguard mutual interests against the backdrop of regional and international developments.

The statement from the Diwan of Royal Court expressed hope that these efforts would lead to greater prosperity for the countries involved, as well as for the broader Islamic nation and the world.
