HM The Sultan Pardons Prisoners on Prophet Mohammed’s Birth Anniversary

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has issued a Royal pardon to 459 Omani and foreign prisoners convicted of different cases. The Royal pardon coincides with the Prophet Mohammed's Birth Anniversary and is a gesture of consideration for the families of the prisoners.

According to Oman News Agency, the pardon reflects the Sultan's commitment to humanitarian values and the alleviation of the hardships faced by the prisoners' families. This act of clemency is seen as an effort to provide these individuals with an opportunity to reintegrate into society and contribute positively.
