Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, graced today the inauguration of the new headquarters of the Internal Security Service in Dhofar Governorate. Upon the arrival of His Majesty's motorcade, he was received by Lt. Gen Said bin Ali Al Hilali, Head of the Internal Security Service, and a number of the Service's senior officers. His Majesty then unveiled the commemorative plaque, marking the official inauguration of the Service's headquarters.

According to Oman News Agency, His Majesty toured the new headquarters, inspecting its facilities and capabilities. He was briefed on the significant national duties and responsibilities entrusted to the headquarters in consolidating the foundations of security and stability. His Majesty commended the efforts in modernisation, development, and keeping pace with emerging challenges across all areas of security work.
