Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik hosted an audience at Al Alam Palace with Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah. The meeting underscored the robust relationship between Oman and the UAE.

According to Oman News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in cultural, scientific, and historical domains. His Majesty emphasized the significance of advancing these collaborations to benefit mutual interests.

Sheikh Sultan expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and conveyed his pleasure regarding the visit. The meeting was attended by key officials from both sides, including Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, and Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office. From the UAE, attendees included Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Book Authority, Mohammed bin Nakhira Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to Oman, and Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Owais, Chairman of the Department of Culture in Sharjah.
