HM The Sultan Concludes State Visit to the Netherlands

Amsterdam: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik departed from the Kingdom of the Netherlands this evening, concluding a three-day state visit. His departure from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol was marked by a ceremonial farewell attended by Rear Admiral Ludger Brummelaar, Chief of the Military House of the King, Reinette Klever, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development, and other Dutch officials.

According to Oman News Agency, His Majesty conveyed his gratitude to King Willem-Alexander and Queen M¡xima of the Netherlands through a cable of thanks. His Majesty expressed his appreciation for the warm hospitality extended to him and the accompanying delegation during the visit. He praised the productive discussions held with the Dutch King and Prime Minister, emphasizing the potential for enhancing bilateral relations and exploring new opportunities for partnership and cooperation.

In his message, His Majesty wished the Dutch royal couple continued success in their endeavors to achieve progress and prosperity for the people of the Netherlands. Accompanying His Majesty on this official visit was a high-ranking delegation, including prominent Omani officials such as HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, and several key ministers and ambassadors.
