Algiers: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Abdelmadjid Tebboune of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria held a significant bilateral meeting at the Presidency of the Republic in Algiers today. The discussions centered on enhancing bilateral cooperation to benefit both nations. The leaders also exchanged views on various regional and international developments.
According to Oman News Agency, following the bilateral meeting, an official session of talks was conducted under the leadership of His Majesty the Sultan and the Algerian President. This session focused on exploring opportunities for economic and investment cooperation between Oman and Algeria, with an emphasis on sectors such as renewable energy, pharmaceutical industries, agriculture, marine resources, food security, and financial and logistical investment.
The session facilitated an exchange of views on multiple topics of mutual interest. From the Omani side, the session was attended by prominent figures, including HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, and Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, among others. The Algerian side was represented by senior officials, highlighting the importance of the session in strengthening bilateral ties.
