Muscat: HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, today graced the opening of Active Oman Centre and Action Point Oman at the Oman Automobiles Association. HH Sayyid Theyazin inaugurated the new identity of the Oman Automobiles Association, known as ‘Active Oman’. During the event, he also toured the facilities of the Active Point Centre and Action Point Oman.

According to Oman News Agency, the centre is a sports entertainment destination designed to empower youth by providing an environment that encourages them to practice their hobbies and hone their skills. This initiative aims to stimulate innovation and contribute to the development of the sports and tourism sectors in Oman.

Action Point Oman boasts six indoor shooting ranges constructed to global standards and equipped with modern technology. The Active Oman Centre includes halls dedicated to padel, acrobatics, snooker, billiards, and digital golf. Additionally, it features a bowling alley, tracks for car and bike racing, and an international karting circuit.
