Hajj Rituals Exhibition Unveiled at Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex in Salalah

Salalah: A three-day exhibition dedicated to the rituals of Hajj commenced today at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah. The event is organized by the Directorate General of Endowments and Religious Affairs in Dhofar Governorate.

According to Oman News Agency, the opening ceremony was graced by Sheikh Dr. Said bin Humaid Al Harthi, Wali of Salalah. The exhibition aims to raise awareness about Hajj rituals and provide guidance to pilgrims on maintaining their health while traveling to the holy sites. It also outlines the services offered by the Omani Hajj mission.

The exhibition includes sections focusing on the locations where Hajj rituals are performed, details about the Omani Hajj mission, resources for non-Arabic speaking communities, and advice on health matters. Visual presentations cover various aspects of Hajj, including the virtues of the pilgrimage, types of Tawaf, the worship at Mount Arafat, and the ritual of casting pebbles at Jamarat sites.

Additionally, the programme features a course on the jurisprudence of 'The Rites of Hajj' and a religious seminar that provides spiritual advice on the significance of Hajj. On the sidelines, a comprehensive preaching programme will be conducted by the Directorate General of Endowments and Religious Affairs in mosques and prayer halls across the wilayats of the governorate.
