Government Communication Centre Highlights New Frameworks in 27th Meeting

Muscat: The Government Communication Centre today convened its 27th meeting under the theme “Guidelines and Regulatory Frameworks for Government Communication Practices”. This important gathering was attended by officials responsible for communication and media across various government units.

According to Oman News Agency, the Centre delivered a presentation on the guidelines and regulatory frameworks it recently implemented to ensure organized and effective government communication. The meeting emphasized the need for standardized communication plans that promote transparency and strengthen public confidence in government performance.

The presentation further included a ‘reference document’ designed to aid in the creation of communication plans. This document details the steps necessary for the preparation and execution of communication strategies within government institutions.

In addition to the presentation, the meeting featured a panel discussion addressing the significant challenges that government institutions face in communication and media. The objective was to enhance the government communication system to align with the fast-paced developments occurring in the media and communication sectors.
