Foreign Ministers of Oman and Japan Discuss Bilateral Relations in Phone Call

Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received a phone call today from Toshimitsu Motegi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan. The conversation focused on enhancing the relations of friendship and cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and Japan, exploring ways to expand collaboration in various fields to benefit both nations.

According to Oman News Agency, the two ministers emphasized the significance of the recent understanding between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran. They expressed their support for regional and international efforts aimed at ensuring the success of this agreement, which is seen as a step towards reducing regional tensions. The ministers also highlighted the importance of creating conditions that ensure the security and safety of maritime navigation in the region, adhering to the principles of international law.
