Nizwa: The inaugural International Bariatric Surgery Club Conference commenced today in Nizwa. The event is organized by the International Bariatric Club in collaboration with Oman’s Metabolic and Bariatric Surgical Society and Nizwa Hospital. It brings together a group of specialized physicians and experts from Oman and abroad.

According to Oman News Agency, Dr. Badr Aflah Al Hadhrami, Consultant in Bariatric and Upper GI Surgery at Khoula Hospital, explained that the conference focuses on key challenges in bariatric surgery, complication management, and delivering optimal patient care in line with global advancements.
