Salalah: The competitions of the fifth edition of the School Beach Games Championship commenced today on the sand courts at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Compound for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah. The tournament, organized by Oman School Sports Association, will run until 3 September.

According to Oman News Agency, the championship features 102 male students representing various educational directorates, competing in beach handball and beach volleyball categories. The event aims to promote sportsmanship and athletic skills among young students. The participants will compete over several days, showcasing their talents in two popular sports disciplines.
