Event in South Al Batinah Aims to Equip Omani Youth with Future Skills and AI

South al batinah: The Directorate of Culture, Sports, and Youth in South Al Batinah Governorate organized the “Youth Readiness” event today at the A’Rustaq Sports Complex. This initiative is part of the “Future Skills for Youth” program celebrating World Youth Skills Day, aiming to equip young people with the necessary skills to adapt to rapid changes in the job market.

According to Oman News Agency, the event targeted young men and women aged 18 to 35 from the South Al Batinah Governorate, including school and university students, recent graduates, and those interested in self-development. Fifty participants took part in this event, marking a significant step towards achieving the program’s key objectives.

The event’s focus was on enhancing awareness of future skills and anticipating job market changes up to 2035. Participants engaged in sessions introducing artificial intelligence and the basics of personal financial literacy. Additionally, the event aimed to stimulate analytical thinking and encourage attendees to plan for their professional futures.
