European stock indices opened higher today: supported by falling oil prices and corporate earnings that have so far met investors' expectations, boosting market performance at the start of trading.
According to Oman News Agency, among the major European markets, France's CAC 40 index in Paris rose 0.54 percent, while Germany's DAX index in Frankfurt gained 0.82 percent. Italy's Milan stock exchange index advanced 0.71 percent, while Britain's FTSE 100 index in London added 0.42 percent.
