Muscat: Gen Hamid Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies, received Maj. Gen Hassan Abdullah Almalki, Commander of the Saudi Arabian War College, and his accompanying delegation at Bait Al Falaj Garrison today. The two sides engaged in discussions on several matters of common interest, with a focus on academic aspects.
According to Oman News Agency, the meeting was attended by senior officers at the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies. During their visit to the Sultanate of Oman, the delegation also explored the Joint Command and Staff College (CSC) at the Academy for Strategic and Defense Studies. Brigadier Saif Hamad Al Yousifi, Commandant of the CSC, welcomed the guests upon their arrival.
The delegation was briefed on the CSC’s curricula, training, and educational programs and toured the college’s facilities and departments. Furthermore, the Commander of the Saudi Arabian War College and his team visited the National Defence College (NDC).
At the NDC, Brigadier Mansoor Ali Al Amri, NDC Acting Commandant, welcomed the visitors. The delegation was informed about the college’s facilities and strategic curriculum, which aims to prepare national competencies for strategic decision-making at various levels. They also toured the NDC’s departments and various halls.
