Amman: Total trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD9 million on Tuesday, as 2.4 million shares were traded through 2,570 transactions. The general share price index closed at 3,656 points, marking a decline of 0.07 percent.

According to Jordan News Agency, the sectoral performance on the ASE showed mixed results. Both the services and industrial sectors experienced a drop of 0.25 percent each, whereas the financial industry saw a slight gain, increasing by 0.06 percent.

Out of the 91 listed companies traded, 27 companies recorded gains in share prices, while 35 companies saw a decrease, and the remaining companies' share prices remained unchanged.
