Salalah: An Algerian delegation headed by Said Sayoud, Minister of Transport of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria today visited Salalah Port and Freezone. During the visit, they viewed the transport and logistics system in the Governorate of Dhofar.

According to Oman News Agency, the guests were accompanied during their visit by Eng. Khamis Mohammed Al Shammakhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology for Transport. The guests were briefed about the various services offered by Salalah Port, as well as the port’s competitive edge, logistic services, facilities, commercial projects, and investment opportunities.

The delegation also visited the Freezone. During this visit, they were introduced to the existing investment opportunities. They also were briefed about the incentives and services offered to investors.
