Sohar: Riyada, the Authority for Development of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), is organizing an event titled "Al Batinah Entrepreneurs Exhibition 2026" in the Wilayat of Sohar, North Al Batinah Governorate. Fifty SMEs are taking part in the two-day exhibition.
According to Oman News Agency, the opening ceremony was held under the auspices of Eng. Badr Salim Al Maamari, Chairman of the Department of Projects, Tenders and Local Content at Riyada, in the presence of Halima Rashid Al Zar'ee, Chairperson of Riyada. The exhibition features SMEs from sectors including converting industries, crafts, technology, digital innovation, tourism, services, and commerce. This event underscores the role of SMEs in supporting the national economy and diversifying income sources.
The exposition offers workshops, practical training programs, and panel discussions designed to align the goals of entrepreneurs with the needs of major companies and their affiliates. The event emphasizes developing modern management skills and creating business models. It also covers topics on professional marketing, governance, financing, and fulfilling tender and supply chain requirements.
