Washington, The World Bank expects global
growth to slow to 2.9 percent in 2019, compared to 3 percent in 2018
due to rising trade tension and weak global trade.
Reuters reported today that World Bank CEO Kristalina
Georgieva made it clear in the World Bank’s World Economic Outlook,
issued twice a year by the Bank, the world economy was operating at
full capacity, but had lost momentum during the year, and the road
could become even tougher in the new year.
