Washington, Only one minute after he came on

as a substitute at the FedEx Field in Washington, Vinicius Junior was

running rings around Juventus down the left flank.

Facing up to his rivals, he wasn’t afraid to take anyone on and

have a shot, setting up Marco Asensio to score his first of the evening.

The Brazilian is Real Madrid’s big hope for the season and it’s

clear that those in charge trust the youngster and believe that he will

come good, being more than satisfied with his early pre-season form.

“We have to emphasise his age so people know what he could

become, no-one asked Messi for ID,” is the thought of many on the 18

-year-old.

That first move of his display was the kind of reason why he is

the focus of the future for the club, with Marco Asensio also set to join

him in leading this team in the next era.

Asensio himself left the showboating to Vinicius, linking up

well and finishing off two moves with goals to show what he can

achieve this season.

Without Cristiano Ronaldo on the left hand side, Asensio can

benefit from freedom on the left and that’s why many believe that this

duo can lead the way to success in the future, the Spanish MARCA

newspaper reported.
