(UPDATE) TOURISM MINISTER LAUNCHES TOURISM ADVERTISEMENT CAMPAIGN AT BEIRUT AIRPORT

Caretaker Minister of Tourism, Walid Nassar, has arrived in the vicinity of Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut to launch a tourism advertising campaign titled “If you miss Lebanon, visit it this summer”.

The campaign also aims to replace the pictures of political figures and slogans with pictures that portray the beauty of Lebanon and its natural sites.

Speaking from the airport, in presence of Ghobeiry Municipality Head, Maan Khalil, and a number of advertising companies’ owners, Caretaker Minister Nassar said, “The Ministry’s advertising campaign, announced two months ago, will start from Beirut airport. Today we can see the billboards with the campaign’s slogan ‘Welcome to Lebanon (Ahla bhal Talleh)’ along Beirut airport road. I promise that this advertising campaign will cover all Lebanese territories, and starting today until next week there will be more than one hundred and fifty billboards in various regions.”

Minister Nassar thanked all the private advertising companies that “supported and provided all services to the Ministry of Tourism.”

The Caretaker Minister also called on the Lebanese expatriates, families and friends, to visit Lebanon, their mother country, during the summer season, anticipating a prosperous and promising summer season
