Muscat, The Research Council (TRC) today signed
several agreements within the National Technology Transfer Network
(NTTN), including the signing of the support agreement for the
establishment of the Technology Transfer Office in Sohar College of
Applied Sciences (SCAS), the College of Higher Technology (CHT) in
Al Masanah , in addition to NTTN accession agreement by CAS of the
Ministry of Higher Education, and CHT of the Ministry of Manpower
and the College of Education in A’Rustaq.
The agreements were signed by Sayyid Dr. Fahd bin al-Julanda al-
Said, TRC Assistant Secretary General for Innovation Development,
and by CAS deans or their representatives, in the presence of Dr. Mona
bint Salim al-Jardaniyah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Manpower
for Technological Education and Vocational Training, and Dr. Hilal bin
Ali al-Hinai.
In a speech welcoming the attendees and participants in the signing
ceremony of the NTTN accession agreement, Sayyid Dr. Fahd bin al-
Julanda al- Said, TRC Assistant Secretary General for Innovation
Development, praised the efforts exerted by TRC and in cooperation
with higher education institutions to establish a national network to
support the research, innovation and transfer of knowledge across the
Sultanate through the establishment of technology transfer offices in
these institutions, drawing on the experience of ESCWA.
