Muscat, The Tender Board awarded a number of additional projects and works to complement developmental projects in various fields valued at RO78,057,157 million during its tenth meeting today under the chair of Dr. Rashid bin Al Safi al- Huraibi, Chairman of the Tender Board.

The Board also discussed several topics related to tenders and additional works that complement the developmental projects.

Among the most important projects approved by the Board are:

Construction of two dams for groundwater recharge on Wadi Al Qafeefah and Wadi Al Wareed in the Wilayat of Ibra, Governorate of North A'Sharqiyah for the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources RO7,185,850.

Completion of the construction of the building Secretariat General of the Supreme Council for Planning RO15,985.279.

Operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment and civil maintenance at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) for the period (2020/2021) RO9.281.885.

Provision of periodic maintenance services, with the provision of spare parts for medical equipment to a number of hospitals and health units of the Ministry of Health RO6.533.119.

Construction and equipping the buildings and works of the Sultanate's pavilion at Dubai Expo 2020 RO4.700.000.

Provision of general cleaning services at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) during the period from January 2020 to December 2021 RO4,125,380.

Additional works for the civil works project at Muscat International Airport (within International and Salalah Airport Development Project) for the Ministry of Transport RO14,894,139.

Approval of the completed works for the construction of Ras Al Hadd Airport in the Governorate of South A'Sharqiyah (Package Two) for the Ministry of Transport RO9.161.501.

e-Grading project for the General Diploma Examinations and its equivalent for the academic years (2019-2020 and 2020-2021) for the Ministry of Education RO2.840.000.

The supply of additional medicines to the Royal Hospital for the Ministry of Health RO2,442,324.

Approval Request for the Ministry of Higher Education to award the practice related to joining the Oman Research and Education Network (OMREN) RO768.000.

The additional work of consultancy services and project manager for supervision and design of the building of the Secretariat General of the Supreme Council for Planning RO139.680.
