Muscat, A delegation from the Tanzanian
Military College, headed by Colonel Ibrahim Mikael, visited the State
Council today within the framework of his current official visit to the
Sultanate.
The visiting delegation was greeted at the Council’s building by
Honourable Saif bin Ali al-Ameri, Honorable Nasser bin Rashid al-Bahri
and Honourable Mohammed bin Said al-Rumhi.
At the beginning of the meeting, Honourable Saif bin Ali al-Ameri
gave a briefing on Council of Oman, the role of the State Council in
terms of legislative and regulatory aspects, consolidating development
plans and contributing to the consolidation of the authentic values of
the Omani society.
The head and members of the delegation of the Tanzanian
Military College expressed their aspiration for further development and
prosperity of the relations between the two friendly countries in order to
enhance their cooperation in all fields. They praised the Sultanate’s
comprehensive development under the leadership of His Majesty
Sultan Qaboos Bin Said
The delegation toured the building of the Council, during which
they learned about various facilities. The delegation viewed a
documentary highlighting stages of development of the Shura march in
the Sultanate and the contribution of the State Council to the national
work.
