Sultanate to Participate in Islamic Conference of Culture Ministers in Bahrain

Muscat, The Sultanate, represented by the

Ministry of Heritage and Culture, will participate tomorrow (Wednesday)

in the extraordinary session of the Islamic Conference of Culture

Ministers to be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain for two days, under the

theme “Together for Safeguarding Human Heritage and Countering

Extremism.

The Sultanate’s delegation will be headed by Sheikh Hamad bin

Hilal al-Ma’amari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and

Culture for Cultural Affairs.

The agenda of this session will discuss several joint cultural

projects related to the cultural issues among the Islamic countries and

ways of enhancing and developing them. It will also address a number

of topics on the agenda that will foster the cultural work, common

action areas and a number of cultural projects on enhancing Islamic

and international cultural support to safeguarding cultural and civilized

heritage in Al Quds Al Sharif.
