Cairo, The 21st Conference of Arab Ministers

Responsible for Cultural Affairs kicked off in Cairo today and lasts for

two days.

The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Heritage and

Culture, is taking part in the conference with a delegation led by

Sheikh Hamad bin Hilal al-Ma’amari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of

Heritage and Culture for Cultural Affairs.

The conference discusses several common cultural issues and

topics related to the cultural affairs in the Arab countries, ways of

enhancing and developing them to achieve aspirations of peoples in

the region. It also discusses the executive strategy of the Arab Decade

for the Cultural Right, which was launched on 22 June 2018 with the

participation of the Ministry of Heritage and Culture.
